Looking for characters you can find at EPCOT? Well, you came to the right place!
In this guide, I will provide you with the must-up-to-date list of characters in EPCOT and where to find them!
**Walt Disney World is constantly changing and things are slowly returning. Meet and Greets with hugs have returned and characters are signing autograph books again! I will keep you up to date with the most recent information here.
What Characters Are There in EPCOT?
Did you know that EPCOT is one of the best parks for seeing characters at Disney World?
In fact, there are many characters that you will ONLY find in EPCOT!
Seeing characters is one of the best things to do at Disney World. Whether you’re old or young, meeting and getting your pictures with the characters is part of the fun of going to Walt Disney World.
What characters are there in EPCOT? You’ll find a WIDE variety of characters in EPCOT. You’ll find Mickey and his pals; Minnie, Goofy, Pluto, Donald Duck, and Daisy Duck.
Are you a Disney Princess lover? Well, EPCOT is a great place for finding your favorite Disney princesses. Belle, Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, Mulan, Anna, Elsa, and Jasmine all have regular Meet and Greets here!
You’ll even find characters you won’t find anywhere else; such as Joy from Inside Out and Vanellope von Schweetz from Wreck-It Ralph.
Characters are seen all throughout the day. Their schedule looks a little similar to something like this. Starting at 9:45 am until about 6 pm. They do take regular breaks but are never gone too long.
Make sure to get an autograph book for the characters to sign. This is such a fun, memorable souvenir to keep forever! I recommend purchasing a character autograph book from Amazon before you travel. Amazon has a lot of great options and is cheaper than purchasing in the parks!
PRO-TIP:
For the most up-to-date characters in EPCOT, pick up a Times Guide as you enter the park for the day. This will provide a list of the characters in EPCOT for that day and what times to see them.
You can also find up-to-date times for character meet and greets on your My Disney Experience App. If you haven’t downloaded the app yet, go ahead and download it. This is a must when visiting Walt Disney World.

How Do You Find Where the Characters in EPCOT Are on the My Disney Experience App?
For those that are a little technology impaired like me, here are directions on how to find where the characters in EPCOT are on the My Disney Experience App.
Open the My Disney Experience app. From the map, you’ll see a menu across the top with the following: Filter(left), Wait Times(Middle), and Show List(right). Click on Filter and select EPCOT. Then on the Wait Time drop-down menu, click Characters. Click Show List and this will show all the characters and times that will be at the park on that day.
If you happen to miss these characters at EPCOT, No Worries (Hakuna Matata)! I have provided a list of other places you can find these characters while at Disney World!
Characters in EPCOT You’ll Find in World Discovery
You’ll find the following characters in EPCOT near the Main Entrance of the park.
1. Goofy
Location:
Main Entrance of EPCOT
Other places to spot at Disney:
Magic Kingdom: Be on the lookout for Goofy at one of the parades.
Hollywood Studios: Sunset Boulevard, Tower of Terror Balcony
Animal Kingdom: Look out for Goofy cruising the Discovery River on Goofy and Pals Set Sail.
2. Pluto
Location:
Main Entrance of EPCOT and character dining at Garden Grill Restaurant.

Hollywood Studios: Animation Courtyard
Characters in EPCOT You’ll Find in World Celebration
You’ll find the following characters in EPCOT in and around ImageWorks; which is the building you enter after exiting Journey into Imagination with Figment.
3. Winnie the Pooh
Location:
You’ll find Winnie the Pooh frolicking around the Gardens trying to catch butterflies near the entrance to Journey Into Imagination With Figment.
Other places to spot at Disney World:
Currently, EPCOT is the only place to spot Winnie the Pooh. I’m hoping he returns to his Thotful Spot in Magic Kingdom soon!
4. Joy
Location:
You’ll find Joy in ImageWorks right after exiting the ride Journey into Imagination with Figment.
Other places to spot at Disney World:
EPCOT is the ONLY place to find Joy, so make sure to see her here!
5. Vanellope von Schweetz
Location:
You’ll also find Vanellope von Schweetz in ImageWorks.
Other places to spot at Disney World:
This is the only place you’ll find Vanellope. Make sure to visit her here!
6. Mickey Mouse
Location:
Magic Eye Theatre in the Imagination Pavilion.
Other places to spot at Disney World:
Magic Kingdom: Mickey is available for pictures at Town Square Theatre. (There’s usually a long wait here.)
You’ll also find Mickey in Mickey’s Celebration Cavalcade (parade) and Mickey’s Magical Friendship Faire (show ). Check My Disney Experience App for Times.
Hollywood Studios: Commissary Lane, Red Carpet Dreams
Animal Kingdom: You’ll find Mickey cruising down Discovery River on Mickey and Friends Flotilla
Characters in EPCOT You’ll Find in World Showcase
Here in the World Showcase is where you’ll find the majority of characters in EPCOT. This is where all the princesses are! The princesses are found in the countries they are from. You will also find Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, and Daisy Duck.
So let’s make a journey around the world, starting at the World Showcase Friendship Ambassador Gazebo. From there, we will enter Mexico and end in the UK!
7. Minnie Mouse
Location:
World Showcase Friendship Ambassador Gazebo
Other places to spot at Disney World:
Magic Kingdom: Watch out for Minnie Mouse during Mickey’s Celebration Cavalcade (parade) and Mickey’s Magical Friendship Faire (show ). Check My Disney Experience App for Times.
8. Donald Duck
Location:
World Showcase, Mexico Promenade
Other places to spot at Disney World:
Hollywood Studios: Hollywood Boulevard, front entrance balcony
Animal Kingdom: Donald’s Dino-Bash Flotilla- Keep an eye out for Donald and his friends throughout the day cruising down Discovery River.
9 & 10 Elsa & Anna
Location:
World Showcase, Norway- Royal Sommerhus. These sisters are available at the Norway Pavilion at Royal Sommerhus. You can get your picture taken with one or both if you like!
Other places to spot at Disney World:
Magic Kingdom: You won’t be able to get your picture with them, but you can catch them at Mickey’s Magical Friendship Faire stage show in front of the castle. They are also on one of the floats in the parade.
Hollywood Studios: Again, you won’t be able to get your picture with them, but you can see them perform in the fun sing-along show, “For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration.”
11. Mulan
Location:
World Showcase, China Gardens
Other places to spot at Disney World:
It is rare to find Mulan anywhere else, so make sure to see her here!
12. Snow White
Location:
World Showcase, Germany Wishing Well
Other places to spot at Disney World:
Make sure to see Snow White at EPCOT because this is the only place she is currently available for Meet and Greets.
13. Princess Jasmine
Location:
World Showcase, Morocco
Other places to spot at Disney World:
Currently, Jasmine is only available for Meet and Greets at EPCOT. So, if you want to meet Jasmine, see her at EPCOT. Hopefully, she will return to her spot near the Magic Carpet ride in Magic Kingdom soon!
14. Belle
Location:
World Showcase, France Promenade
Other places to spot at Disney World:
Magic Kingdom: Fantasyland at Maurice’s Cottage
15. Princess Aurora (Sleeping Beauty)
Location:
World Showcase, France Fragrance Gardens Gazebo
Other places to spot at Disney World:
Currently, Princess Aurora is only available for Meet and Greets at EPCOT. Make sure to see her here!
16. Daisy Duck
Location:
World Showcase, International Gateway
Other places to spot at Disney World:
Hollywood Studios: Hollywood Boulevard, on the front entrance balcony
17. Alice
Location:
World Showcase, UK Gardens
Other places to spot at Disney World:
Currently, Alice is only available for Meet and Greets at EPCOT. Hopefully, she will return to her spot near the Mad Tea Party in Magic Kingdom soon!
18. Mary Poppins
Location:
World Showcase, United Kingdom Courtyard
Other places to spot at Disney World:
Currently, Mary Poppins is only seen for Meet and Greets in EPCOT.
Character Dining in EPCOT
1. Garden Grill Restaurant
Garden Grill Restaurant is THE place for character dining in EPCOT. It is located in the same building as Soarin’ and Living with the Land.
Here you will find Chip ‘n’ Dale (of course), Farmer Mickey, and Pluto!
If you are looking for a character dining experience at Disney World, this is a great one!
It would also make for the perfect breakfast in EPCOT or you could even do a lunch or dinner here too!
What’s so unique about this restaurant is that is it revolving! How cool is that!?
Make sure to book your Advanced Dining Reservation! However, you might be able to get on the Walk-up-List while there.

2. Akershus Royal Banquet Hall
Akershus Royal Banquet Hall is your princess dining spot in EPCOT. If you’re having trouble getting into Cinderella’s Royal Table at Magic Kingdom, you’ve got to try this one! I assure you, it is excellent and a whole lot of fun!
This princess dining character meal is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It is located at the Norway Pavillion in the World Showcase.
The princesses seen here are Ariel, Belle, Jasmine, Snow White, Princess Aurora, Mulan, Cinderella, and even Mary Poppins!
Attractions in EPCOT with Your Favorite Disney Characters
I thought I’d provide attractions in EPCOT with your favorite Disney characters since of course, you are here for the characters!! On these attractions, you will find animated versions of your favorite characters!
1. Frozen Ever After
Featuring Characters: Anna, Elsa, & Olaf
Before or after seeing Anna & Elsa, take a ride on Frozen Ever After. You will be singling aloud to all your favorite Frozen songs with Anna, Elsa, and Olaf!
This is a family-friendly ride suitable for all ages. However, it is dark and there is a small backward drop.
2. Gran Fiesta Tour Starring The Three Caballeros
Featuring Characters: Donald Duck
Before or after meeting Donald Duck, take a ride on this fun boat ride. This slow, gentle boat ride through the Mexico Pavilion is great for all ages. Here you will spot your favorite duck, Donald!
3. Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure
Featuring Characters: Remy
Any Remy fans? If so, Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure is a must-ride. This fun, ride great for all ages will make you feel like you are part of the movie Ratatouille!
4. Journey into Imagination with Figment
Featuring Characters: Figment
For those interested in seeing the classic EPCOT purple dragon Figment, make sure to ride Journey into Imagination with Figment. This is another ride great for all ages.
5. The Seas with Nemo & Friends & Turtle Talk with Crush
Featuring Characters: Nemo, Dory, Crush
Nemo fans? You can’t miss The Seas with Nemo & Friends and Turtle Talk with Crush. The Seas with Nemo & Friends makes you feel like you are in the movie on a search for Nemo! Turtle Talk with Crush is a fun interactive talk with the amusing Crush!
