Character Breakfast in EPCOT
There are two character dining options in EPCOT. Character dining is so much fun for the whole family, but especially fun and magical for toddlers and young kids while at EPCOT.
Unfortunately, since the reopening one is completely closed and the other is only open for lunch and dinner.
1. Garden Grill Restaurant (Temporarily Closed for Breakfast)
As of right now, Garden Grill Restaurant is the ONLY character dining at EPCOT. Unfortunately, they are currently not open for breakfast. I really hope this changes soon and they bring breakfast back!
When breakfast was served, many delicious items were served family-style including Mickey Waffles and their signature dish Chip’s Sticky Bun Bake.
However, if your looking for a character meal in EPCOT this is a great choice for lunch or dinner.
Characters seen at Garden Grill Restaurant include Chip ‘n’ Dale, Farmer Mickey, and Pluto. Besides characters, what also makes Garden Grill Restaurant fun is it is a rotating restaurant!!
Advanced Dining Reservations are required for Garden Grill Restaurant. You can conveniently book on the My Disney Experience App. However, if you don’t have a reservation check the My Disney Experience App while at EPCOT to see if you can “Join the Walk-Up List.”

Princesses seen hear at the Princess Storybook Dining included Snow White, Cinderella, Belle, Princess Aurora, and Ariel.
Breakfast here included the typical American breakfast items such as scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, cinnamon rolls, and fruit. They also incorporated many Norwegian foods.

Breakfast in EPCOT Resort Area
There are some great breakfast options in the EPCOT Resort Area. They are very convenient for those staying at one of the EPCOT Resorts. However, if you are not staying at an EPCOT Resort, you can still eat breakfast at one of these resorts and take advantage of its close proximity and prime location to the EPCOT International Gateway.
For those that do not know, the EPCOT International Gateway is the “other” entrance/exit to EPCOT. It’s also the access point for the Disney Skyliner.
Entering the park at the International Gateway lands you between the France and United Kingdom Pavilions, a perfect landing spot for those wanting to head first to the most popular ride at the park, Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure in France.
If you’d like to eat breakfast at an EPCOT Resort you have a couple of options. You could eat before entering the park or you could eat a later breakfast after entering the park.
